About This Clinical Trial
As a research-oriented cancer specialty hospital affiliated with China Pharmaceutical University, Shanghai GOBROAD Cancer Hospital upholds the dual commitment of “patients come first” and scientific innovation. Leveraging the university’s talent pipeline and cutting-edge research capabilities, the hospital centers its clinical research around principal investigators (PIs), continuously improving efficiency and quality while accelerating the translation of biomedical innovations into patient benefit.
The hospital is currently conducting a Phase I/II, multi-center, non-randomized, open-label, dose-escalation and dose-expansion study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of IPG7236 combined with toripalimab in adult patients with advanced solid tumors.
This clinical trial has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) (Clinical Trial Approval Notice Nos.: 2025LP02717, 2025LP02718) as well as from the Ethics Committee of Shanghai GOBROAD Cancer Hospital. Participants are now being recruited on a voluntary basis.
Investigational Drug: IPG7236
IPG7236 is a novel CCR8 (C-C chemokine receptor type 8) small-molecule antagonist classified as a Class 1 innovative drug. It is designed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
CCR8 is highly expressed on regulatory T cells (Tregs) within the tumor microenvironment. By antagonizing CCR8, IPG7236 aims to deplete or functionally suppress tumor-infiltrating Tregs, thereby lifting immunosuppression and enhancing anti-tumor immunity. When combined with the PD-1 inhibitor toripalimab, the regimen seeks to produce synergistic anti-tumor effects.
Eligibility Criteria
Key Inclusion Criteria
- Histologically or cytologically confirmed advanced or recurrent malignant solid tumor that is metastatic or unresectable.
- Patients must have failed, be intolerant to, or have no standard antitumor therapy available, OR be deemed by the investigator not suitable for standard treatment at the current stage.
- At least one measurable lesion according to RECIST v1.1 criteria.
Key Exclusion Criteria
- Primary central nervous system (CNS) malignancy or malignancy associated with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
- Concomitant other active malignancies (exceptions: basal cell carcinoma of the skin, cervical carcinoma in situ, or superficial bladder cancer with no evidence of disease after potentially curative therapy; other prior malignancies are acceptable if disease-free survival exceeds 3 years).
